What’s happening?
For the last 20 years, die-hard foodies in the Lower Mainland know that it’s best to spend their money on dining out during Dine Out Vancouver.
Dine Out Vancouver (DOV) is a food festival that celebrates the rich and vibrant culinary scene in some of the well-known districts of the Lower Mainland, usually cities surrounding its namesake, like Burnaby, North Vancouver, Richmond, New Westminster, and Surrey. This event happens only once a year, and this year it is happening from January 14 to 31, 2022.
Dubbed as Canada’s largest food festival with over 300 restaurants participating, DOV offers tons of varieties with a 3 course menu with starting prices between $20 to $59 (excluding taxes and tips).
A lot of thrift foodies including students take advantage of this event to try out high-end restaurants; it’s a very smart move to splurge on an extraordinary dining experience from highly acclaimed restaurants and world class chefs without breaking the bank.
Dine Out Vancouver does not only offer restaurant dining experience, it also offers culinary experience such as a dim sum making class or wine and beer pairing classes from award winning wineries and breweries in BC. Also a part of the festival is what’s called “Vancouver World Chef Exchange” wherein top Chefs from across Canada grace the Vancouver’s culinary stage with their talent.
